This CE marked medical device launched in Europe in October 2009. Ambulight: PDT is a simple and easily applied, light emitting plaster, used in photodynamic therapy (PDT). PDT is as a well established alternative to surgery for many forms of skin cancer. In addition to medical devices, Ambicare are developing consumer healthcare phototherapy products. Applications include acne (Ambulight: Acne) and skin rejuvenation (Ambulight: Rejuvenate).
