WHI Model Network Connectivity

Partnering and networking are key elements of advisory support which are pertinent in ensuring clients receive maximum benefit from the WHI services.

WHI will only achieve its aims if the core services are delivered with a wrapper of network connectivity that will aid in each area to accelerate the companies growth.

Our knowledge of  Scotlands' innovative SME community working in the Wellness and Health sector is second to none. Our partner network is set up to help create and foster knowledge transfer and enhance the view that partnering and networking, both from a UK and international perspective, are key elements of the WHI community.

WHI has developed and continues to develop with a number of different types of partner:

The partner network goes beyond purely commercial partners but links together the high growth SME’s with a range of international blue-chip corporate partners, Higher Education Institutes, outsourcing partners and public sector organizations that significantly improve the potential of SME’s overcoming market barriers, increasing acceleration across the maturity curve and reducing the risk of failure.

SME-to-SME collaboration is another important relationship that needs to be fostered and Wellness and Health Innovation works closely with its clients to identify opportunities for collaboration which will benefit company growth. A recent collaboration has seen Kelvin Connect receiving a £1m equity investment with Airwave Solutions.

In addition, WHI uses a Strategic Advisory Group to advise and influence the development of the wellness and health market in Scotland. The WHI Strategic Advisory Group comprises of a cross-section of business influencers, academics and stakeholders representatives from across the Wellness and Health sector.
